DPW Roadwork Underway - Where It May Cause Delays

The Department of Public Works is busy this summer with a number of jobs on Burlington’s streets, sidewalks and parking lots. 

 

To help you keep up to date and possibly seek alternative routes, we will keep you updated as to what work is happening where. 

 

There are four paving projects set to start on Friday, June 24. The work will be done on Manor Avenue, Wyman Street, Oxbow Lane and Harriett Avenue. In all instances the DPW states motorists should expect delays. 

 

There are also seven projects that are currently underway and are expected to be completed on July 5. The streets in question on Brookside Lane, Sandra Avenue, Carter Road, Wilmington road, Phillip Avenue, Woodhill Road and Moss Street. 

 

Additionally, the Burlington Ice Palace, Fire Department and Town Hall parking lots are currently being repaved. The Police Department parking lot will be repaved starting on July 3.
