Letter: People Helping People Thanks Tuscan Kitchen
The following is a Letter to the Editor from People Helping People:
People Helping People would like to take this opportunity to thank Joe Faro, Owner of Tuscan Kitchen for hosting the Grand Gala on Friday evening, September 30th and including People Helping People to be part of this wonderful evening.
As you entered the restaurant you were served a glass of champagne and Joe was greeting the guests and welcoming them to the event. As you walked around the restaurant you were offered numerous appetizers as well as given the opportunity to sample some of Tuscan’s specialty drinks. Samples of the wine were ample throughout the evening. Then came the food! There were food stations throughout the restaurant from their specialty pasta’s to carving stations. As the evening went on the desserts came out and what a delight they were. From specialty cookies to cannoli’s! No one went home hungry that evening.
What an evening of community spirit it was all at no charge to the guests! As you were leaving at the end of the night you were given an opportunity to take a loaf of Tuscan’s homemade bread and given a Tuscan Gift Bag with Tuscan wine glasses and homemade pasta!
People Helping People was most especially blessed to receive a generous financial donation from Joe that will come in most handy as we enter the holiday and winter season when the needs of the People Helping People organization increase. It is also important to remind the community that Joe Faro also hosted the People Helping People Volunteer Appreciation luncheon this past June with Tuscan Kitchen donating the food and having Chef Eddie and Marketing Manager Roseann serve the food to the volunteers of PHP. People Helping People is very thankful to Joe Faro and the Tuscan Kitchen Family for all their do for our Community!
