'The Farmers Market Cookbook' Author Speaking in Burlington on Wednesday

Then a program at Grand View Farm starting at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25 may be just the thing you’re looking for.
The Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce’s Charitable Foundation, People Helping People and Lahey Hospital & Medical Center are hosting a presentation and cooking demonstration by chef and entrepreneur Julia Shanks titled “25 Tips for Going Local Without Going Crazy.” Shanks is also a co-author of the “The Farmers Market Cookbook” which features over 200 recipes ranging from traditional dishes to more innovative creations.
Shanks has been cooking since she was 12 years old and made her way through the Time-Life Cookbooks. As a chef she has worked in restaurants around the country.
