Burlington Rotary Hosting Talk by Boston Globe Sports Writer Ben Volin

Burlington residents and workers will have a chance to hear a talk from someone who really knows the ins and outs of the New England Patriots during a lunch event this Friday.

“The Rotary Club of Burlington is excited to announce that on Friday, October 26, at noon, Ben Volin, Boston Globe Head Writer covering the New England Patriots, will be speaking at the Rotary Club of Burlington,” an invite says. “Ben joined the Globe in 2013 as the national NFL reporter, with a focus on the Patriots. During his tenure in Boston, Volin has covered two Patriots Super Bowl runs, Deflategate, and the Aaron Hernandez murder saga. Come hear the inside scoop on Gronk, Brady & Belichick in the midst of the football season.”

The Rotary Club of Burlington is a community service organization that meets weekly at the Hilton Garden Inn at 5 Wheeler Road, Burlington. The Club does many service projects that benefit the community of Burlington such as Special Olympics, the Senior Citizens and People Helping People.

The group says it is welcoming guests to hear this speaker. The cost to attend is $20 per person to cover the meal.

If you would like to attend, contact Frank Vozzella, Northern Bank & Trust (781) 569-1559  fvozzella@nbtc.com  or Janet Fitzgerald (781) 244-9519 sullivanfh@comcast.net.
