BHS Athletic Director Receives Massachusetts Secondary Schools Athletic Directors Association Athletic Director of the Year

BHS Athletic Director Shaun Hart has been named the District Athletic Director of the Year by the Massachusetts Secondary Schools Athletic Directors Association (MSSASA). Hart will also join two other athletic directors, Thomas O’ Brien of Haverhill High School and Peter Serino of Abington High School. The MSSADA gave a brief description of Shaun's experience in his athletic career.

“Shaun Hart is in his 5th year as an Associate Principal for Athletics at Burlington High School. Previously he served as the Director of Athletics and Physical Education and Health Instructor at Revere Public Schools and Physical Education Teacher at Westford Academy,” the release states. “Shaun earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Education from Salem State University and a Masters  in Education Administration from Cambridge College and Master of Athletic Leadership from Northeastern. At the local level, Shaun earned as the District B Treasurer and founded the Red Devil Athletic Leadership Team. At the state level, Shaun currently serves on the MIAA Tournament Management Committee, MIAA State Wide Tournament Committee, and MIAA Alignment and Appeal Committee. Shaun was the recipient of the MSSADA Ted Damko Award in 2016.”
