BHS Students Will Have Their Art Displayed at Local Gallery

By: Robert Parris

Students at BHS will have a chance to show their art to the public.

Burlington High School Portfolio and AP Studio Arts students now have their work on display in a regional exhibition, a blog post from Principal Mark Sullivan says.

The Lexington Arts and Crafts society is inviting the public to attend the 21 Annual Regional High School Artists Show at the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society. It will showcase work from advanced students in Burlington, along with work from students in Arlington, Bedford, Concord-Carlisle, Lexington, Lexington Christian Academy, and Winchester.

They premiered last Saturday but the show will be showing through Sunday, January 29, 2017. Gallery hours are as follows: Tuesday through Friday and Sundays 12-4 p.m.; Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and closed Mondays. The student’s art work will be shown at the Parsons Gallery of the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society, 130 Waltham St., Lexington.

The gallery was built with the philosophy of giving local artists an opportunity to exhibit their work. In that same spirit, they give our local student artists the same opportunity.
