Burlington Fire Department Launches 2019 Toy Drive for Boston Children’s Hospital

By: BNEWS

Make a donation of a new toy and help put a smile on the face of a child dealing with an illness.

“The Burlington Fire Department Holiday Happiness Toy Drive is on again!” a message from the department states. “For 2019, we decided to donate all gifts directly to Children's Hospital of Boston. Toys will be distributed to the inpatient children at MA Children's Hospitals and help make the kid's days a little brighter!”

Donate new, unused, unwrapped toys for newborns through children of the age of 18. All toy and gift donations go directly to inpatient children Boston Children's Hospital.

“Boston Children’s Hospital needs toys year round for their brave young patients. Toys are given to child patients for holidays, birthdays, surgeries, milestone treatments, etc.,” the Fire Department says. “We are hoping, through your generosity, to make a delivery before Christmas to stock up for the holidays, and one after to reload it for the rest of the year!”

The first drop off to the hospital is scheduled for Friday, December 13.
