Burlington Police Assist Bedford PD After Report of Armed Robbery


The Burlington Police Department gave assistance to the Bedford Police Department on Tuesday evening after reports of an armed robbery.

Bedford Police say they responded to the Bedford Motel at 30 North Road at 7:39 p.m. after reports of an armed robbery involving a firearm. Upon arrival, officers were told that two men entered the office and robbed the front desk clerk by displaying a firearm and demanding money.

The suspects, described as two light-skinned white or Hispanic males, fled with a quantity of cash in an unknown vehicle possibly in the direction of Carlisle Road. One suspect was dressed in a black hooded sweatshirt, and the other was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.

The Burlington Police Department K-9 responded to attempt to track the suspects.

Detectives also recovered tire tracks and are in the process of reviewing video surveillance.
