Burlington Teachers Take on the Harlem Superstars in a Fun Exhibition Game

By: Robert Parris

Last week Burlington High School hosted a fundraiser where parents and their children watched as the Harlem Superstars took on the BHS teachers in a fun exhibition match up with tricks, dunks and lots of laughs. The event was in support of the group Delta Epsilon Chi and Distributive Education Clubs of America (DECA).

DECA is an international association of high school and college students and teachers of marketing, management and entrepreneurship in business, finance, hospitality, and marketing sales and service. The game involved Burlington faculty members from the high school in a fun and entertaining match up against the Harlem Superstars

The superstars are a group of talented basketball players whose main mission is to entertain kids and their families through the game of exciting show time basketball. Between timeouts and end of game periods, the superstars have the audience involved with spectacular dunk and trick shots bringing them to a much more elusive and immerse experience.
