History Came Alive with Portrayal of Harriet Tubman

The past came to life at the Burlington Public Library when living history artist Gwendolyn Quezaire-Presutti performed her one woman show “I Can’t Die but Once." The show, given as Harriet Tubman, tells the story of the American abolitionist, political activist and humanitarian’s work during the Civil War and after.
