Kelly Pappas Named Vice-Chair of BACC Government Affairs Committee

The Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce has named Kelly Pappas as Vice-Chair of the Chamber’s Government Affairs Committee. The Committee is comprised of leaders from area businesses of all sizes, to address government-related local and regional issues affecting businesses and the community.
Pappas is a Burlington resident, lawyer, and a Licensed Insurance Advisor with the Foster Sullivan Insurance Group. She is active in the Burlington community and volunteers for many organizations including Rotary, People Helping People, Burlington Boosters and Friends of Burlington Football. On a regional level, she is involved with the Merrimack Valley Habitat for Humanity, the Lazarus House Ministries and the Mission of Deeds. Kelly also serves on the Board of Directors for the Eastern MA Chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry.
Chamber President Rick Parker noted “It is Kelly’s knowledge of the issues concerning Burlington-area businesses and the families that live here, that gives her an experienced and balanced perspective.”
Government Affairs Chairman Bob Buckley stated ”We are pleased to have Kelly as Vice-Chair and look forward to benefitting from her professional business experience and commitment to the greater Burlington community.”
Ms. Pappas on her appointment to the position: “I am honored to have been selected as Vice-Chair of the BACC Government Affairs Committee. As a business woman and 20-year resident of Burlington, I look forward to working with the area businesses and the local and state governments to partner together on those issues impacting both commercial and residential interests.”
