Library Closed Monday, February 19 – Presidents’ Day 

Please note that the library will be closed on Monday, February 19 in observation of Presidents’ Day



Youth Services Programs


Spend your Winter Vacation at the library with us!  We’ll have events all week (except for the Monday holiday), for all ages, including a Shadow Puppet Show, multimedia (even food!) winter art, a visit from Spongebob, a Frozen Fest, and movies. Visit us all week for a vacation packed with fun!


Preschool Science - Thursday, February 15, 1-1:45 pm Join Joanna for some hands-on science fun!


Clifford Storytime - Thursday, February 15, 4-4:45 pm In honor of Norman Bridwell’s birthday join Mary for stories about the Big Red Dog, with craft time afterward.


Teen Lounge - Friday, February16 and 23, 2:30-4:30 pm Celebrate the end of the week with Nicole!  Grades 6-12


Mr. Vinny’s Shadow Puppet Show - Tuesday, February20. 11-11:45 am Mr. Vinny presents an interactive shadow puppet show that invites children to join in on the storytelling. Lots of rowdy fun for all! (Best for Ages 3-9)


Winter Food Art for Teens - Tuesday, February 20, 4-5 pm Make a winter masterpiece out of food with Jenna: devour it immediately, or take it home to show it off first! Grades 6-12


Meet Spongebob - Wednesday, February 21, 11:00-Noon Come meet everybody’s favorite absorbent sea creature! All Ages


Multimedia Snowman Paint Night - Wednesday, February 21, 7-8 pm Make something beautiful with Nicole! Supplies are provided. We have only enough canvases for 15, but plenty of paper, paints, and more for all.


Despicable Me 3 - Thursday, February 22, 11 am-1 pm Movie and popcorn for all ages!


Hot Cocoa and Edible Sleds (End of Winter Beading) - Friday, February 23, 1-2 pm Come build sleds out of graham crackers and candy and drink cocoa while we announce the raffle winners of the kids’ winter beading program. (Pre K-Grade 5)


Frozen Festival - Saturday, February 24, 11 am-Noon Come for Frozen related games and crafts led by our Teen Advisory Group!


Teen Movie and Calzones - Saturday, February 24, 12:30-3 pm Nicole invites you to vote for a movie to watch along with build-your-own calzones!




Baby Storytime - Fridays at 11 am For caregivers with children ages birth-18 months. Delight and stimulate your baby’s senses with books, songs, toys and puppets! Build brain power!

Toddler Storytime - Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10:30am For caregivers with children 18-36 months. Interact with your toddler to nurture a love of books. Be active with music and movement!

Preschool Storytime - Wednesdays at 11am & Fridays at 1pm For caregivers with children ages 3-6 years. Help your preschooler get ready to read. Enjoy stories together and build language skills!

Pajama Storytime - Tuesdays at 7 pm  For caregivers with children ages 3-7. Bring your favorite stuffed animal & blanket, and snuggle in for some evening storytime fun!
