Online Driving Tests Now Available

Are you preparing for a Massachusetts learner's permit exam? Through a partnership with, you may now access several free practice tests for the Class D (passenger cars), Motorcycle and CDL exams. You can find the link on the front page of our website or by clicking on Research -Databases - Test Prep.  Please Note: is not affiliated with or evaluated by the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles. The official RMV Driver's Manual is available on their website,, along with additional driver's education information.  Please contact the Reference Desk (781-270-1691) with any questions.

Playing is Learning - Thursday, August 15 @ 11 amA free walk-in play time run by Family ACCESS. Ages 2-6

Star Wars Party - Thursday, August 15 @ 6:30 pm Meet and greet your favorite Star Wars characters then do a related craft! All Ages

Teen Best Friend Test - Friday, August 16 @ 6:30 pm Bring your bestie to play to find out if you are on the same wave length. Those not competing will make up the audience.

Movie Monday - Monday, August 19 @ 1:30 pm Popcorn and a movie for the whole family!

Teen Netflix Movie Night - Monday, August 19 @ 7 pm This week we’ll have snacks and watch the movie based on the book Dumplin’. 

Marcos Valles Rockabye Beats - Tuesday, August 20 @ 11 am Bring the whole family for Valles’ original Spanish infused music that will have you up dancing the cha-cha!

Tween DIY Slime - Tuesday, August 20 @ 4 pm Make some out-of-this-world slime with Jenna. Grades 4-8

Pajama Storytime - Tuesday, August 20 @ 6:30 pm Throw on your jammies and bring your favorite blanket and stuffed animal to snuggle up to Joanna’s stories and songs.

Family Story and Craft - Wednesday, August 21 @ 11 am Joanna will lead a story and craft for all ages.

Teen Gingerbread Rocket Competition - Wednesday, August 21 @ 4 pm Join a friendly competition to see who can build the most impressive edible rocket!

Techbots Guru Art Bots - Thursday, August 22 @ 6:30 pm Tired of doodling? Learn to make a motorized Art Bot that can doodle for you by building an electric circuit with a motor and switch. (Not a take home craft.) No registration, but space is limited and will be for first comers. Ages 6-10

Rainforest Reptiles - Friday, August 23 @ 11 am Come meet and learn about reptiles and their rainforest homes. See alligators, turtles, and snakes! Children of all ages. This show marks the end of the Children’s Summer Reading Program.

Teen Summer Finale - Friday, August 23 @ 3 pm We’ll be wrapping up the summer for grades 6-12 with snacks and raffles.
