Lexington Symphony to Perform Holiday Pops Concert at BHS

The following is a release from the Burlington Community Concert Series:

The Burlington Community Concert Series is pleased to announce that the Lexington Symphony will return by popular demand for A Holiday Pops Concert on Sunday, December 4. This special holiday event, the first of four concerts for the 2016-2017 season will begin at 3:00 pm in the Fogelberg Performing Arts Center.

A favorite holiday performance that will appeal to families with children of all ages, the concert will feature The New England Tenors as well as popular seasonal carols and sing-alongs. And what holiday celebration would be complete without a very special visitor from the North Pole to create a festive atmosphere and evoke a warm and joyous holiday spirit.

Founded in 1996, Lexington Symphony is a professional orchestra of devoted musicians who “share a passion for classical music, a commitment to community engagement, and a dedication to exacting standards of performance.” Under the direction of Jonathan McPhee, Lexington Symphony provides a special connection to community, a mission and approach that is also at the heart of the Burlington Community Concert Series.

Tickets for “A Holiday Pops Concert,” featuring the Lexington Symphony range from $5 to $25 and are available at www.BurlingtonTheatre.com, 781-A-FUN-TIC and at the door. All seats are reserved. Fogelberg Performing Arts Center is a fully-accessible venue located at 123 Cambridge Street on the campus of Burlington High School, Burlington, Mass.
