New Map Shows Number of Massachusetts Cases of COVID-19 in Each Town and City

By: Rich Hosford

How many cases of COVID-19 are confirmed in each town?

A map has been made using data from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) and Google Maps to show just that information.

The MDPH says that as of April 15 there are 29,918 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 1,108 related deaths recorded in Massachusetts. On Wednesday, for the first time, the department started to release the number of cases per municipality.

You can see the number of cases in each community in either a list form or with the interactive map.

In Burlington the MDPH lists the number of cases in Burlington as 91, an increase from Monday when the Board of Health listed the number of cases in town as 63.
