Pedestrian Transported to Hospital After Being Struck by Motor Vehicle

A pedestrian was transported to Lahey Hospital & Medical Center on Monday, March 23, after it was reported they had been struck by a driver on Winn Street.

According to Burlington Fire Chief Michael Patterson, an ambulance and Engine 3 responded to a 3:40 p.m., call of a man who had been hit by a motor vehicle near the Route 128 Southbound ramp near the Woburn town line.

Patterson said the man was “conscious and alert” when emergency crews arrived. He was complaining of leg and hip pain and was transported from the scene with what Patterson said appeared to be non-life threatening injuries. Patterson said the vehicle that struck the pedestrian was no longer in the area of the scene.
