People Helping People Holding Holiday Food Drive for Thanksgiving Meals


Burlington’s premiere non-profit organization is working to ensure everyone has a great holiday meal this Thanksgiving and they need the public’s help. 


On Saturday, November 1, People Helping People will be holding a drive up food drive at the Burlington Food Pantry, at 10 Saint Marks Road, to gather items needed for Thanksgiving meals. These donations will be given out to families in need on November 22. 


Items specifically needed are:


- Cranberry Sauce

- Stuffing

- Cornbread mix

- Canned corn

- Gravy

- Mayonnaise


If you cannot make it the day of the food drive a donation bin is located at 10 Saint Marks Road where you can leave your food donations. Monetary donations can be sent to People Helping People, PO Box 343, Burlington, MA 01803. For more information visit their website here

The  mission of People Helping People is to establish and sustain a community-wide effort to provide assistance to residents of the town of Burlington, Massachusetts who have a need for food, medicine, heat or utilities and to provide for holiday food baskets and gifts for children. PHP is the umbrella organization overseeing the Burlington Community Food Pantry, The Burlington Covenant for Basic Needs and the Holiday Program.
