By: Rich Hosford

Update 9:30 a.m. 7-25-18:

The Massachusetts State Police say that at 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening they were notified that the Burlington Police were in pursuit of a stolen motor vehicle on Route 95 north.

After Burlington Police terminated the pursuit the vehicle cashed on Route 95 north in the vicinity of the Winn Street exit. Several occupants of the vehicle fled on foot into adjacent woods.

MSP Troop A patrols then arrived on-scene to assist in the search for the suspects along with MSP K-9 units and the MSP Air Wing.

The suspects were not located.

Burlington Police say it appears that three or four males were in the stolen vehicle when it crashed. They took off on foot after the accident. One of them, police believe, may have been wearing an ankle bracelet that he cut off before fleeing.
