Redstone Entertainment License Approved

By: Robert Parris

The Board of Selectmen recently approved a six month entertainment license for Redstone American Grill located on 3rd Ave. The license grants solo acoustic music performances on the patio on Wednesday nights from 7 to 9pm. A Redstone representative explained to the Selectmen that they hope it’s something that will drive sales and be a great asset. Town Administrator John Petrin expressed concern about the music bleeding out to the neighboring 3rd Ave establishments. He instructed Redstone to make sure the music is directed in inward so that it’s contained more in the restaurant because the patio is right across the street from other restaurants. Redstone fully agreed and wants to be respectful of its 3rd Ave neighbors.

The Board of Selectmen unanimously approved the vote.  The license will expire in January, at which time Redstone will need to renew their license. If the entertainment is a success, Redstone would need to return to the board to request additional evenings as well.

Redstone American Grill is a privately owned company out of Minnesota which focuses its menu on an “American Food” theme and offers a year round patio. The restaurant opened its location here in Burlington in 2015.
