Restaurant Damaged After Being Struck by Vehicle

By: Rich Hosford

A Burlington restaurant was damaged when a vehicle broke through its front wall but fortunately nobody was injured.

Fire Chief Mike Patterson said that Engine One responded to the New Jang Su Korean BBQ restaurant at 260 Cambridge Street on Friday afternoon in response to the accident. He said crews stood by as the vehicle was removed from the building.

“The front tires of the vehicle actually sat on the window sill of the building,” Patterson said.

Nobody was injured and the ambulance was not called.

The Building Inspector also responded and oversaw the removal of the vehicle.

Editor’s Note: An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated the driver was transported by ambulance from the scene.
