Second Info Session on School Reopening Will Air Thursday

The biggest question right now is what to do this fall in regards to opening schools.

There has been a lot of discussion on this matter in Burlington. A recent School Committee meeting featured a long discussion on the subject. There was also the first Reopening Info Session with Superintendent Eric Conti and Assistant Superintendent Patrick Larkin. Then, this week we had a Superintendent Update with Dr. Conti and BNEWS Director Rich Hosford.

Now, this Thursday, July 30 from 6 to 7 p.m., Superintendent Conti and Assistant Superintendent Larkin will be back on BCAT TV with more information about Burlington Public Schools plans for reopening schools in the fall.

“This week's session will focus on Public Health Principles for reopening while also touching upon some of the Frequently Asked Questions we are receiving from families,” a notice from the schools states.

Burlington residents can watch the broadcast on the BCAT Education Channel (Comcast 22, Verizon 40, RCN 13.)  Viewers can also watch via the live stream on BCAT's Government Coverage Facebook page linked here.
