Site Created for College Bound Seniors with Info on Deposit Delays and Admissions Updates

The COVID-19 situation has caused a lot of uncertainty around many areas of peoples’ lives and that includes high school seniors looking to head off to college for the first time in the fall.

There are usually campus visits as well as other scheduled admission events. There are also things like deposit dates to secure a spot at a college or university. With so much on hold it can be difficult for a college-bound student to figure it all out.

Fortunately, as reported in a blog post by Burlington Public Schools, the New England Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) has created an online tool that shows what each college or university is doing as far as admission events or delaying payments.

“As a service to students and families, NACAC is providing this online tool as a central resource for information about changes in college admission events, deposit dates, and more as a result of the coronavirus outbreak,” the organization says. “This tool will update in real-time as we receive input from postsecondary institutions. We hope this resource will make it easier for students and others to navigate the college admission process during this unprecedented time.”
