The leadership team of a much-anticipated incoming grocery store in Burlington has been released.

In a press release, Wegmans Food Markets announced last week the management team and executive chef that will run the new Burlington location. The store will open on Sunday, Oct. 26 and will be located at 53 Third Avenue. This will be the third Wegmans store in Massachusetts.

The Burlington Wegmans will be an approximately 135,000 square-foot supermarket that includes a Market Café with indoor and outdoor seating for more than 200 people. It will have a two-story design that features a cart conveyer system.

The incoming Burlington Wegmans is still looking to hire new employees, the release states.

“Those interested in learning more about how to become a part of our team here at Wegmans should visit for more information, and be sure to attend our open interviews on Sunday, September 28 to Monday, September 29 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.,” said Marybeth Stewart, Human Resources Manager of Wegmans’ New England Division.
