BCAT's Summer Film Week 2018

Do you have dreams of winning an Oscar? How about directing the next big summer blockbuster? We have just the program for you!

 

 

BCAT is offering a FREE week-long summer program for high-school students entering 9th grade through 12th grade, who are interested in learning more about the world of filmmaking. BCAT's Summer Film Week will run the week of July 30th - August 3rd from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

 

Students in the program will gain first-hand experience in all aspects of film production, from script-writing to post-production. By the end of the week students will have produced a short narrative film, which will have its premiere screening at an upcoming BCAT Cinema Series event on Friday August 17th. BCAT Production Coordinator Chris Flaherty will serve as instructor of the program and executive producer of the short film.

 

Pre-registration is required. BCAT's Summer Film Week will take place at the BCAT Studios, located at 123 Cambridge Street (Entrance is located in the back of Burlington High School). Sign up now
