Premiere Screening Of Summer Film Week Short Film!

Be one of the first to see the BCAT Summer Film School's amazing short film Melting Point!

Produced over the course of one week, Melting Point tells the story of Wally, a lazy student in a race against time to retrieve a magic wand from a wicked sorceror, before his life is changed forever.

The short was produced entirely by students in the Summer Film Week program,

and overseen by BCAT Production Coordinator Chris Flaherty. The BCAT Summer Film Week is a free summer program where high school students learn the in's and out's of film production, from script-writing to special effects. The goal of the program is to produce a short narrative film.

Melting Point is the end result of their months of hard work and dedication.

The first screening of Melting Point will take place on Friday August 17th at the next BCAT Cinema Series.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6:45 p.m. Space is limited!
