Benefit a great cause while learning your way around a wine list on Sunday, February 26th. Bob Murray and the Cafe Escadrille will be hosting the 10th annual Wine Tasting and Charity Auction for People Helping People.
This event has become a Burlington tradition that benefits People Helping People, the umbrella organization for the Burlington Food Pantry which serves around 550 people in Burlington a year. They also organize the efforts of the Wish Tree at the Burlington Mall, helping make the holidays special for children. People Helping People also provides short term emergency assistance for people through Covenant for Basic Needs.
Those attending the event will be greeted with a glass of champagne or wine, the tasting takes place in the ballroom with appetizers, numerous and exquisite. There will also be live and silent auctions. Â
The Weiner Family, owners of Dunkin Donuts, have once again made a special purchase for everyone in attendance. The Auction items this year promise to be unique with dinners from many Burlington restaurants and tickets too Boston sporting events. All this for just $75.00 per person.
