The Burlington community has a variety of charities and causes you can give to year around. Many of these charitable efforts are seeking that extra push to help give those less fortunate a brighter holiday season.
People Helping People
Capital Grille Raffle
Purchase a Capital Grille Raffle ticket for a chance to win a $1,000 gift certificate to the Capital Grille in Burlington (certain conditions apply). The prize, which covers dinner for six, including wine, was donated by the Capital Grille at 10 Wayside Road in Burlington. Proceeds will help support holiday dinners for families in need in December in Burlington. Tickets are $20.00 each with the drawing to be held at the Capital Grill on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Wish Tree
The Wish Tree is located on the second floor of Burlington Mall (just above Santa). Choose a gift to purchase from the Wish Tree to make a child’s holiday a happy one. Gifts purchased may be dropped off at The Wish Tree.
People Helping People is also looking for Wish Tree volunteers from Friday, November 25th through Wednesday, December 14th. Hours will be 11am-7pm Monday through Saturday and 12pm-6pm on Sundays.
Burlington Food Pantry

HELPIS
HELPIS is a year round social network for kindness and charitable deeds that connects people in need with people who want to help. On December 6, 6pm-8pm Exit Premiere at 85 Wilmington Rd Burlington is hosting Cocktails for a Cause to support HELPIS. Bring any size pajamas that will keep families warm and your name will be entered into a raffle for your kindness. Don’t have PJs? No problem. You can bring socks, sweatshirts, sweatpants, gloves, hats, toothbrushes, toothpaste, women’s hygiene products, supermarket gift cards and Dunkin and Uber gift cards.
Wee Care Burlington
Wee Care Burlington is a local non-profit that accepts donations of new or gently used clothes, shoes, coats, toys, books, and baby items for families in need. During the holiday season Wee Care is seeking brand new or gently used toys for children. Donations can also be dropped off the many Wee Care Drop box locations at businesses around town.

Kadilak Realty Group will be collecting donations for Wee Care Burlington at their 2nd annual Holiday Home Tour, Tuesday, December 5. This free event features Burlington homes decorated for the holiday season with appetizers, refreshments, an open bar, and a raffle.
Fox Hill School Coats for Kids & Families
You can support local students with Coats for Kids & Families when you drop off donated coats at the Fox Hill Elementary School lobby. Participating schools earn School Rewards for the winter gear they help collect. All coats will be cleaned by Anton’s Cleaners. The effort is also sponsored by Enterprise Bank and Jordan’s Furniture.

Burlington Firefighters Local 2313 Holiday Toy Drive for Children’s Hospital
The Burlington Firefighters Local 2313 is continuing their tradition of giving this holiday season. Your toy and gift donations go directly to the inpatient children of Boston Medical Center’s Children’s Hospital. Donate new, unused, unwrapped toys for newborn to age 18.
