BHS Boys Track Headed to MIAA All State Championship

Burlington Boys track went to the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association All State Championship over the June 25th weekend. Check out some of the results.

Saturday, June 26 was day 1 of the All-State Championship. Participating in day were Sophomore Rithikh Prakash, Seniors Jack Giles, Jonathan Wolinski, Richard Cromwell and Junior Anthony Minichiello.  Prakash was part of the 2mile event where he finished in 18th place. Giles, Wolinkski, Cromwell and Minichiello were part of the 4×800 team squad where they also finished in 18th place.

Sunday, June 27 was day 2 of the All-State Championship where Seniors Joe Mitchell, Alex Keane, John Peterson and Juniors Ryan and Sean Cunningham participated in various of events. Mitchell finished in the top 20 for his performance in the 110 Meter Hurdles at 16.16. The 4×100 Relay Squad (Keane, Peterson and Cunningham’s) finished at 17th place at a time of 44.83

Lastly, Senior James Johnson will be heading to Eugene, Oregon on July 3 for Nationals at Temple Track and Field for the 2000 meter.
