Burlington’s food pantry, People Helping People, is out with a message following the popular event, Truck Day. Here’s Janet Sullivan, who is on the PHP Board:
Thank you to all the residents of Burlington who stopped by People Helping People’s truck on Truck Day on Sunday, Sept. 17. We appreciate your support, whether it was donating food or making a financial donation by purchasing a Sizzling Summer raffle ticket. People Helping People is always in need of food and financial support. The following foods are needed this month: Pancake mix, syrup, oatmeal, condiments, cooking oil, coffee, tea, cocoa, side dishes, and kids snacks. Food can be dropped off at our donation center at 21 Murray Ave from 6 a.m. – 7 p.m. every day. Financial donations can be made by going to our website, www.peoplehelpingpeopleinc.org
There are many residents in need in Burlington. Help us help those in need!
