Burlington Womenade and the Primrose School of Burlington have partnered in hosting an Ice Cream Social to raise funds for Aaqib Baig.
Aaqib is a 6 year old boy who in April was admitted to Children’s Hospital for Volvulus, an inflamed twisting of the intestines. He’s already gone through four extensive surgeries and is waiting for a final surgery to connect his intestines with the colon.
The Ice Cream Social is happening Friday, September 23rd 5:30pm to 7:30pm at the Primrose School of Burlington, 10 Greenleaf Way. The event is set to feature some amazing raffles, great silent auction items, food and of course delicious ice cream.
A suggested donation of $40 per family is requested. Donations are being accepted by check, Venmo, PayPal or cash at the door. Follow the Burlington Womenade Facebook page for updates on raffles and auctions.
