State Representative Ken Gordon is bringing the news makers of the hour straight to our doorstep, with “Rappin’ With the Rep” , a monthly show where he bringing the leaders of the legislature and executive branches of government to Bedford to discuss the issues that concern us.

The Rep from Burlington, Bedford and a portion of Wilmington, Ken addressed the growing costs of health care in his first show, and this month will tackle the controversial issue of gun violence when he brings Representative David Linsky, the author of the Act to Reduce Gun Violence currently in committee on Beacon Hill. In March, Ken plans to bring members of the Burlington and Bedford Chambers of Commerce together to question the Secretary of Transportation Richard Davey and MBTA General Manager Beverly Scott in a town-hall style forum, where the issues involving traffic and public transportation will be discussed.

Ken is no stranger to the field of investigation. He has been an employment lawyer, representing working people facing discrimination and wrongful termination, for the past dozen years. Before that he was a newspaper reporter, on the staff of the Palm Beach (Fla.) Post and affiliated with the Boston Globe and the Sporting News. He won several state of Florida and one Associated Press award for his investigative specials.
