The Ways and Means Committee consists of fifteen registered voters, the majority of whom should be town meeting members. The Ways and Means Committee is the chief advisory committee to the town meeting.
The Committee makes written recommendations to the Town Meeting on all Articles contained in any warrant which involve the appropriation, transfer, expenditure, raising and borrowing of money and may make recommendations on any and all questions involving Town affairs.
The committee is broken down by the chairman into sub committees who recommend action to the main committee on every town department budget.
