Burlington Public Schools has a long-awaited new assistant superintendent to lead the district alongside Superintendent Eric Conti. Dr. Lisa Chen comes to Burlington from Louisa, Virginia, where she served as Director of Middle School Education and Professional and Virtual Learning for K through 12, and as assistant superintendent for instruction… she’s also been a principal and an assistant principal in Virginia and Massachusetts schools. She has a PhD in Education Administration from Boston College and a Masters Degree in English Education from New York University and Oxford University in England.Â
