Burlington High School Class of 2023 graduate Megan Ohol has received the National Merit Northeastern University Scholarship award according to National Merit Scholarship Corporation’s Director of Public Information.
Ohol is among over 3,000 students awarded National Merit Scholarships which are sponsored by colleges and universities for students to attend their respective schools. These college-funded awards provide between $500 and $2,000 annually for up to four years of undergraduate study.
Ohol was the BHS Class of 2023 Essayist and addressed her fellow graduates at the commencement ceremony where she pointed out the importance of acknowledging “moments that seem insignificant now, will become fond memories later”.
