As Burlington schools’ population of English Language Learners grow, the district is creating new ways to serve students. Two members of the ELL team travelled to Guatemala, where many of Burlington’s ELL students are from, to learn about the culture and the families of some of Burlington’s newest residents. Plus, three current and former ELL students share their journeys across borders.
