Flu vaccination prevents millions of illnesses and flu-related doctor’s visits each year. Annual flu vaccination is recommended for everyone 6 months and older, with a few exceptions as has been the case since 2010. New this season, however, there is a preferential recommendation for the use of higher dose and adjuvanted flu vaccines in people 65 and older over standard dose, unadjuvanted flu vaccines. More information on this new recommendation can be found here.

All children and adults are eligible regardless of insurance status. When registering, please enter an email address for canceling or rescheduling your appointments and for receipt of proof of vaccination. Children under age 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian. If you have questions or are unable to register, call the Board of Health office at 781-270-1955. If possible, please wear a loose-fitting short sleeve shirt to your appointment.
