Monday is Independence Day and Burlington traditional 4th of July Parade is back after a two-year hiatus.
The parade will begin at 11 a.m. on the morning of Monday July 4th though the roads will start to close around 9:30 a.m. so make sure you get your spot early. The route will begin at the corner of Cambridge Street and Wilmington Road near the Burlington Car Wash and will continue down Cambridge Street to Winn Street, ending at Marshall Simonds Middle School (see map below).
Burlington’s festivities this year will not include fireworks. There are, however, going to be displays in neighboring communities throughout the weekend.
