The Burlington Board of Health will host a free information presentation on food safety on Wednesday, May 13, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Grandview Farm in Burlington.
The presentation, titled “Food Safety First: Basic Information You Need to Know,” will be led by Marlene Johnson, RS, Health Agent. Attendees will learn about how to safely prepare and store food at home.
The event will also include a free food safety bag with a kitchen companion booklet, food thermometer, and minimum cook temperature magnet.
