There are many ways you can donate and make a contribution to those in need this Thanksgiving. BCAT has listed local donation events and locations where you can help make a difference, especially for the People Helping People Food Pantry. The Burlington Food Pantry is located at 21 Murray Avenue in Burlington and its shelves are stocked solely through donations. They are seeking non-perishable, unexpired foods.

United Church of Christ Donation Drive-Up
The United Church of Christ, Congregational (UCC) is holding a food drive for Thanksgiving dinners. Donations can be brought to the UCC at 6 Lexington Street, Burlington. You do not need to be a congregant to support this charitable effort.
Saturday, November 22, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. UCC will be holding a drive-up Thanksgiving food drive. Just drive up, pop your trunk and volunteers will take your donations.
Items needed include stuffing, canned gravy, corn bread mix, canned corn, chicken broth, cranberry sauce and mayonnaise; other non-perishable items are also appreciated.
Save room for dessert as the Burlington Cub Scout Pack 555 is asking for pie donations. People can purchase a pie at Shaws for Cub Scout Pack 555 and deliver it to the UCC the same day as the drive-up. If you know a parent of a Pack 555 Scout you can make a monetary donation for pies to their personal Venmo accounts and they will forward the donation.
