Learn more about the Girl Scouts and enjoy a traditional summer camping treat at the same time.

The Burlington Girl Scouts is hosting a recruitment event for all girls entering Kindergarten through Grade 12 to come learn about Girl Scouts, a notice from the scouts states. The event will be celebrating National S’mores Day and will be held on Tuesday, August 9, open house style between 6:30 and 8 p.m. at Simonds Park, so families can stop by whenever is convenient for them (and stay as long as they want).

“Girls and their families are invited to stop by, make and eat some s’mores (an amazing tradition credited to Girl Scouts) and learn more about the Girl Scout Leadership Experience,” the notice reads.
