Here is where the Girls Varsity Ice Hockey currently stand for the 2021 winter season.

Varsity: The Burlington Girls Ice Hockey team had a Middlesex League Playoff game on Wednesday, February 17 against the Reading Rockets at the Burlington Ice Palace. In the first half of the game, both the Red Devils and Rockets were scoreless. During the second period, things picked up the pace for Burlington. Senior/Captain Shannon McDonald, Freshmen Shea McDonald, Senior Alexia Hamilton and 8 grader Caitlyn Tremblay scored points for the girls in the second half. An empty netter was also in the mix near the end. The final was 5-1 Burlington. The team then traveled to the O’Brien Ice Rink to take on the Woburn Tanners on Thursday, February 18. The Tanners defeated the Red Devils by a score of 6-1. Seniors that are departing are Ava Petrone, Shannon McDonald, Sydney Shinopulos, Alexia Hamilton and Colleen McMakin. Congrats on a great undefeated season.

Varsity: Girls Varsity Hockey had a game at the Burlington Ice Palace on Wednesday, February 10 against the Belmont Marauders. The team defeated Belmont in a blowout score of 6-1. The team had their final game of the regular season against the Marauders again on Valentines Day where they shut them out 4-0. The girls finished the season undefeated at (8-0-1) joining Girls Varsity Basketball and Gymnastics this season. They are standing at the number three seed in the playoffs and will face the number six seed the Reading Rockets at the Burlington Ice Palace. This game will be live-streamed and be available to watch on our BCATTV Facebook page.

Varsity: Girls Varsity Hockey will have an away match up against Winchester on Monday, February 8 at in Woburn. The girls are  currently undefeated at (4-0-1). The will be back home against the Belmont Marauders on Wednesday, February 10 at the Burlington Ice Palace.

Varsity: Girls Hockey headed to Stoneham Arena to take on the Wakefield Warriors on Tuesday, January 26, where at the time they were in search of their fourth win. Burlington got another W that evening and moved to (4-0-1) on the season. The final in the game was 3-1 Devils. The team will verse the Melrose Red Raiders on Sunday, February 7.

Varsity: Lady Devils Ice Hockey faced the Stoneham/Melrose team on January 18 where they pulled off a victory to stay undefeated. They then had a home game on Wednesday, January 20th at the Ice Palace against the Wakefield Warriors. We have some highlights Click Here. The team moves to (3-0) and will play the Warriors again on Tuesday, January 26 in Wakefield.
