The Burlington Select Board is encouraging graduating 2023 seniors who live in Burlington to apply for the Town of Burlington Scholarship Fund. Funding is available for students attending Burlington High School, private schools, and vocational schools.Â
Funding for the scholarships comes from voluntary donations which town residents can opt to make when they pay their tax bill.Â
Qualified applicants must be going on to an accredited college, university or a technical school. The application includes an essay and a high school transcript.Â
Interested students can find an application by asking in person at the Burlington High School guidance office or by emailing scholarships@burlington.org.Â
The application deadline is April 3. Completed applications can be sent to the Burlington High School Guidance Department at 123 Cambridge St, Burlington, Ma 01803, or emailed to BHS guidance counselor Joseph Attubato at attubato@bpsk12.org.
Awards will be announced at the Burlington High School Annual Scholarship Award Night. The Scholarship will be disbursed upon the successful completion of the winners’ first semester of college.Â
