Burlington High School students joined members of the Burlington Police Patrolmen’s Association and the Burlington Police Command Officers Union to serve local seniors at the annual Holiday Luncheon held December 4 at the Burlington Senior Center.
Students helped organize the event by setting up tables, chairs, and decorations before working alongside officers to serve food and beverages to attendees. The luncheon brought together students, police officers, and seniors for a festive community celebration.
Decorations for the event were provided by A Whole Bunch Flower Market of Burlington, with lunch prepared by Culinary Creations of Burlington.

“It is so great to see our students being a part of a community coming together in such a positive way,” said Principal Mark Sullivan. “I am proud of our students for being able to show, even at their young age, that their contributions make a difference in their community.”

“Burlington Public Schools wants to thank the Burlington Council on Aging and Burlington Police for this amazing opportunity for our students,” said Superintendent Eric Conti. “This was a great chance for students to give back this holiday season.”
