The Burlington Mall is excited to announce Safety Town is happening August 22, 23 and 24, two sessions a day 9am-10am and 10am-11am at the Burlington Mall 75 Middlesex Turnpike. This is a time honored event where the Burlington Police Department educates kindergarteners and first graders on pedestrian, bus, and traffic safety.
Safety Town teaches kids using child-sized buildings, roads, and traffic signals. During the event Police Officers show children the proper way to get on and off a school bus. Officers also demonstrate how to understand road signs and traffic lights and help children identify when and where it is safe to cross the road in a fun learning environment.
