Burlington Mall “Do Good with Denim” Back-To-School Drive

Simon Property Group is proud to host its back-to-school denim drive, “Do Good with Denim,” to support sustainability and positively impact the community August 1st through September 5th.

In collaboration with Cradles to Crayons, the Burlington Mall invites shoppers during the busy back-to-school season to drop off their old denim-exclusive clothing to be recycled.

Customers will be able to contribute any type of denim apparel items to the “Do Good With Denim” drive including jeans, jackets, shirts, skirts and more. All donated denim products will then be sent to Cradles to Crayons. The Burlington Mall’s Director of Marketing & Business Development Sheila Hennessy commends the initiative.

“Simon’s eight participating centers including Burlington Mall are so proud to partner with such an amazing organization like Cradles to Crayons who takes such pride in ending child clothing insecurity,” Hennessy continued. “Giving back to our community is a top priority for Burlington Mall and Cradles to Crayons is the perfect partner with their strong ties to Boston and the impactful work they have done in the past.”

The “Do Good With Denim” donation drop off is located on Burlington Mall’s Lower Level near TravisMathew. Aubrey Henderson, Executive Director at Cradles to Crayons Boston spoke on the need for school clothing throughout the Boston area.

“As we prepare for students to return to classrooms across Massachusetts, families face higher costs due to inflation and many are asking themselves how they’ll afford the essentials kids need,” said Henderson continued. “Simon Property Group’s ‘Do Good with Denim Drive’ and its dedication to Cradles to Crayons ‘Ready for Learning’ initiative helps to ensure that thousands of local children begin a new school year with the clothing and confidence they need.”
