The Burlington Board of Health is offering a Certified Food Protection Manager course and exam for food service managers, supervisors and shift leaders in the restaurant industry.
Led by Marlene Johnson, health agent for the Board of Health, the class will include trainings, textbooks and the exam, and will take place over two Wednesdays on March 15 and March 22. This is Johnson’s first time offering the class.
Offered at the discounted rate of $63.31, the trainings could help restaurants afford important safety certifications that can add up amid high staff turnover in the industry.
It is available for residents of Burlington and the surrounding communities.
