The Burlington Players have received a total of twenty nominations for the Eastern Massachusetts Association of Community Theatres (EMACT)’s 2025 Distinguished Achievement and Special Honors (DASH) Awards.
EMCAT is a member of the American Association of Community Theatres (AACT) and works to “encourage and promote Community Theater in Eastern Massachusetts through educational programming, supportive services, and the recognition of excellence.”
Every year theater groups submit their productions to a panel of judges for DASH Award consideration. The top 3-6 scoring entries in each category receive nominations, which are announced in July. The top scorer receives the DASH Award.
