Burlington Public Library to Host Curbside Food Drive for Food Pantry

Help support those in need by making a quick trip to the grocery store and then the library. 

The Burlington Public Library is holding a Curbside Food Drive for People Helping People and the Burlington Food Pantry on Saturday, February 20 between 10:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Come by in your vehicle and drop off non-perishable, future dated items to be donated to the food pantry. 

The Food Pantry is in need of the following items: 

– 2 lb bags of jasmine and basmati rice

– 2 lb bags of sugar and flour

– Side Dishes (quinoa, au gratin potatoes, flavored rice or pasta, etc.)

– Healthy snacks

– Canned tomatoes of all sorts

– Pasta sauce and spaghetti 

– Pancake syrup

– Shampoo, toothpaste, tissues

– Dish soap 

– Coffee tea and cocoa 

– Vegetable oil 

– Jelly 

People Helping People regularly helps hundreds of families through the Food Pantry and the need has only gotten more severe with the pandemic.
