Burlington Public Schools Earn An ‘A’ Grade in National Rankings

Niche grades and rankings are calculated using dozens of public data sets and millions of reviews. Niche scientists and user researchers rigorously analyze data and user opinions to assess the key aspects of K-12 schools, colleges, and places to live.

Overall Burlington Public Schools were highly rated. The appraisal showed BPS with a student-teacher ratio of 11 to 1. According to state test scores, 61% of students are proficient in math and 60% in reading.

In a Massachusetts superlatives category Burlington Public Schools were rated the 25th out of 237 as Best Place to Teach, BPS is the 46th Best School District out of 219. The district also ranked Massachusetts 60th Most Diverse in Massachusetts out of 239.

A category called ‘Living in the Area’ Burlington earned an A+ grade for Good for Families, a B- for Housing, and a C+ for Cost of Living.
