Celebrate “Halloween at Wayside” This Friday

Families and Trick-or-Treaters looking to kick off the holiday weekend while helping a good cause should head to Wayside Shopping Center this Friday for their special “Halloween at Wayside” event.

“Halloween at Wayside” will be held on Friday October 29th from 3:30-5:30 pm, and will feature a “scavenger hunt, DJ & dance party, photo booth, costume parade, and treats for kids and 12 and younger”. Event organizers are asking participants to bring donations of “Bars of Soap (individually wrapped), Tissue boxes, Toothbrushes, Toothpaste, or Shampoo” for People Helping People.

While the event will be held outdoors, Wayside asks that for everyone’s comfort, masks be worn when social distancing is not possible. Wayside Shopping Center is located at 6 Wayside Road in Burlington. For updates please check Wayside’s website and Facebook page.

Chris Flaherty is a production coordinator at BCAT and an advisor for the BHS TV high school club. Chris attended Quinnipiac University, where he graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in "Film, Video, & Interactive Media" with a Minor in English Writing in 2013. He is a BHS class of 2009 alumni, and was an active member at BCAT as Voyager and BCAT’s High School growing up. Chris enjoys giving back to the community where he grew up, and can be spotted covering many events about town.
